Forestry Mulching
Mulching is a great tool for controlling unwanted species, whether you are wanting to take back your understory for hunting or wildlife purposes, hazard reduction in case a fire gets out on your property, or taking back an overgrown pond dam. This is a great route because you have little soil disturbance and leaves you with a clean, manicured look afterwards.

Herbicide Application
via drone, skidder, or hand labor
Being diverse is the key in the herbicide application world. Not every property is the same and some are suited for different treatment than others. You may want your overgrown pond sprayed which would require the drone, while others need a skidder for understory spraying to control waxy vegetation. In some instances the tract may be wet so hand labor spraying understory would be the appropriate application for controlling unwanted vegetation.
